Local authorities
Recipients of a general disability pension may be entitled to a discount on municipal taxes. The request for a discount should be submitted to the local authority.
The authorizations are transferred from the National Insurance Institute directly to the local authorities, so there is no need to contact the NII.
Ministry of Transport
Recipients of a general disability pension with a permanent degree of incapacity of over 74%, and Recipients of a general disability pension who are also receiving income support may be entitled to a discount on public transportation. The discount is only for the purchase of monthly fare tickets. There are transportation lines on which no discount is given.
the certificate of entitlement to a discount is issued automatically once every two years, so there is no need to contact the Ministry of Transport. A person who does not receive the certificate can write to the Public Transportation Division, 8 Hamelacha Street, POB 571809, Tel Aviv 61570.

Ministry of Construction and Housing
Recipients of a general disability pension with a degree of earning incapacity of over 74% may be entitled to assistance with rent (in public or private housing) or in purchasing an apartment from one of the public companies (Halamish, Amidar, Amigur, Prazot, Shikmona and Heled).
Recipients of an attendance allowance who have been living in Israel for less than two years may be entitled to assistance with rent (in public or private housing) or in purchasing an apartment from one of the public companies (Halamish, Amidar, Amigur, Prazot, Shikmona and Heled).
The application for assistance should be submitted to one of the mortgage banks.
Ministry of Social Affairs
Recipients of a general disability pension of over 74%, with a medical disability of at least 80%, may be entitled to a discount on the telephone meter, usage fees and installation fees.
Parents who are receiving a benefit for a disabled child of at least 100% may be entitled to a discount on the telephone meter, usage fees and installation fees.
The application for the discount should be submitted to the Rehabilitation Division of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, 10 Yad Harutzim Street, Jerusalem.
The health funds
Recipients of a general disability pension are entitled to an exemption from copays for visits to health fund doctors or specialists, for the health fund undertaking in hospitals and for visits to outpatient clinics and institutes.

Ministry of Finance / income tax
Recipients of a general disability pension with a weighted medical disability of at least 90%, and those with a 100% medical disability may be entitled to an income tax exemption (Section 9 (5) of the Income Tax Ordinance) in accordance with the rules. The application for exemption should be submitted to the assessing officer in the place of residence.
Ministry of Finance / purchase tax
Recipients of a general disability pension with a permanent degree of earning incapacity of over 74% may be entitled to a discount on purchase tax.
Recipients of a general disability pension with a weighted medical disability of at least 90%, and those with a 100% permanent medical disability may be entitled to a discount on purchase tax. The application for the discount should be submitted to the Ministry of Finance clerk in the place of residence.
Israel Land Administration
Recipients of a general disability pension with a medical disability of at least 80% may be entitled to an exemption or discount on the consent fees paid to the Israel Land Administration. The application for the exemption or discount should be submitted to the Israel Land Administration in the place of residence.
