Soldiers

Soldiers in compulsory military service and girls in national service may entitle their parents to an increment to their NII benefit, or to an extension of the period of their entitlement to benefit.

A soldier in the permanent army pays national and health insurance contributions from his salary, just as every other employee. However, he does not receive health services in the framework of the National Health Insurance Law, but rather from the IDF.
