News - You’re aged 70 or over? You may be entitled to an income supplement to your old-age or survivor’s pension

With the rise in the amount of the income supplement paid to persons aged 70 or over who receive an old-age or survivor’s pension, more recipients of old-age and survivor’s pension may be entitled to the income supplement.

Thus, you also may be entitled to the income supplement to your old-age or survivor’s pension, if you meet the criteria determined in the law. (Everything written in this link regarding the old-age pension is true regarding the survivor’s pension as well.)

Submitting a claim for the income supplement

In order to receive the income supplement, please fill out the claim form for income supplement to recipients of old-age and survivor’s pensions and submit it to the local NII branch nearest to your place of residence.

Please note,

Persons entitled to income supplement are also entitled to discounts from various institutions and organizations, such as the health fund, the local authority, Bezek, the Ministry of Housing, and the Electric Company.
