News - Long-term care cash benefit also for residents who belong to the Netanya and Holon local branches

Announcement to recipients of long-term care benefit who belong to the Netanya and Holon local branches, who employ a full-time caregiver on the possibility of receiving a cash benefit, instead of services from a manpower company

From now on, recipients of a long-term care benefit who belong to the Netanya and Holon (including Azor) local branches, who employ a full-time caregiver, may choose to receive their benefit in cash to their bank account, and to employ their caregiver exclusively, without the intermediation of a manpower company; or to continue to receive care services from the manpower company at the number of hours determined for them by the NII, and to employ the caregiver themselves in the remaining hours, as up to now.

The Netanya and Holon local branches have been added to the list of branches in which there is a possibility of receiving a cash benefit: Ashdod, Ashkelon, Bnei Brak, Jerusalem, Nahariya, Ramat Gan and Tiberias.

The possibility of receiving the long-term care benefit in cash is in the framework of a pilot accompanied by research, approved by the Knesset and conducted by the National Insurance Institute.
