| News - Have you reached the age at which one may begin receiving an old-age pension? |

It's worth your while to check – you may be entitled.
The NII invites you – women from age 62 and men from age 67 – to check your entitlement to the old-age pension and to take up your rights.
There is a simulator available to you on the site to check your entitlement to pension.
Please note: Men upon reaching the age of 67, and women upon reaching the age of 62-64 (depending on date of birth) may receive an old-age pension if they have no income, or if their income is not over a certain amount. (Pension is not considered income.)
When you reach this age, the NII will send you a claim form for the old-age pension.
Whoever does not receive an old-age pension due to income may receive their pension when they reach age 70 (men) or age 67-70, depending on date of birth (women).
In order to find out when you'll be entitled to the old-age pension according to your date of birth, you may use the simulator for calculating the age of entitlement to old-age pension.
More information on the old-age pension may be found on the old-age scheme site.
