the rehabilitation personnel of the National Insurance Institute can help you to find work in several ways.
The National Insurance Institute’s rehabilitation services are provided by social workers who advise you on everything pertaining to choosing a suitable occupation, and integrating into the job. Under the law, you have the opportunity to undergo vocational rehabilitation, which is provided to you in addition to the disability pension.
What do the rehabilitation services include?
Advice and counseling on occupational integration, including assistance in job placement.
Preparing a rehabilitation program suitable for your qualifications and limitations.
Financing tuition during your vocational training / studies.
If you are receiving a partial disability pension, you are entitled – under certain circumstances - to a rehabilitation allowance, funding of travel expenses and assistance in financing the equipment required to implement the rehabilitation program.
The National Insurance Institute’s rehabilitation services are provided to people who are suited for work in the open market. If you are more suited to protected or supported work, you will be referred to the appropriate service at the Ministry of Social Affairs or the Ministry of Health.
You are invited to contact the Rehabilitation Department at the National Insurance Institute branch in your area of residence, in order to check the rehabilitation program that is suitable for you, which will enable you to find a job.
