Grant for an adoptive parent

The grant given to an adoptive parent is paid to an Israeli resident who adopted a child up to the age of 10. A person who adopts the children of his spouse is not entitled to the grant.
In order to receive the grant, you must submit a personal claim on the form Claim for a birth and hospitalization grant.

In order to receive payment, the spouse who chose to take the adoption leave must fill out the form Claim for a birth grant and hospitalization grant and submit it to the branch closest to his place of residence. The form must include authorization by the welfare clerk regarding provision of the adoption notice. This authorization must show the month and year of the child's birth. If this involves a foreign adoption, a notarized translation of the foreign adoption documents must be provided.

Rates of the grant                

An Israeli resident who adopts a child up to the age of 10 is entitled to an adoption grant at the rates specified below.
Adoptive parents who adopt more than one child up to the age of 10 on the same day are entitled to an increased grant.
