Staying abroad - A person who is receiving an old-age pension without income supplement

If you are living abroad, you will continue to receive your pension while you are abroad for 6 months at the most. If you went abroad on August 1, 2009 or after that date, you will continue to receive your pension while you are abroad for up to 3 months.

Your pension will be paid into your bank account in Israel.

If you are planning to stay abroad for longer than 3 months, you must notify the National Insurance Institute (Old Age Department) of your stay abroad in writing. Under certain circumstances, the National Insurance Institute will continue to pay your pension, even while you are abroad.
