Reserve Service - Additional documents to be submitted

 The appropriate authorization from the IDF or from the Ministry of Labor’s emergency personnel unit must be attached to the claim.

A salaried employee claiming the benefit from the National Insurance Institute must attach to his claim certification from his employer regarding the dates of the beginning and end of his employment and the number of days worked in the 3 months that preceded the reserve service, as well as salary slips or certification of salary for the 6 months that preceded the reserve service.

A person who received the benefit from his employer and is claiming an additional benefit from the National Insurance Institute must attach to his claim authorization from his employer indicating the amount of the benefit paid to him, the salary on which calculation of the benefit was based, the period of reserve service for which the benefit was paid and the number of the authorization given to him by the IDF or the Ministry of Labor.

A working youth must attach to his claim authorization from the Ministry of Defense for his participation in pre-military education and certification from his employer regarding the salary paid to him for the last 30 work days in the 3 months preceding the reserve service. If he received a salary for the period in which he attended pre-military education, he must also attach certification of the amount of the salary paid to him.

A student must attach to his claim a photocopy of his student card or certification of studies from the institution in which he is studying.
