Survivors - Heating grant

Once a year, a lump-sum heating grant is paid to recipients of survivors pensions who fulfill the following conditions:
1.   The recipient has reached retirement sge.
2.   The recipient received an income supplement to the survivors pension in one of the following months: October, November or December of that year.
3.   The recipient lives in an area defined as “cold” by the law, for at least two months.

The grant, which is given to the family, is NIS 536 (as of 01.01.2012) , and is paid automatically as an addition to the pension for the month of October.
