| Financial benefits for severely disabled work-injured persons |

The National Insurance Institute will examine your case in order to determine whether you are eligible for a special pension for personal maintenance or for a special grant to cover the expenses of one-time arrangements you must make because of your disability:
* If you have a permanent degree of disability of 75% or more;
* If you have a permanent degree of disability of 65-74% due to which you have difficulty in walking (subject to authorization by an NII physician).

| Grant for one-time arrangements | |
Your eligibility for a grant will be examined by the NII, if, due to your disability, you require assistance for one or all of the following purposes:

Adaptation of your living quarters

Purchase accessories
-
Purchase of a vehicle to solve your mobility problems |

| Submission of claim | |
| You can submit a claim for a special grant or for a special pension to the Rehabilitation Department at the NII local branch nearest your place of residence. Along with the form for a special grant/special pension, you must submit detailed plans on how you intend to use the grant or pension and all relevant authorizations. |

| Special pension | |
| In addition to a work disability pension, the NII will examine your case in order to determine whether you are also eligible for a special monthly pension for covering special expenses and for assistance in your personal care. |
