Assistance in Research Funding - Date to submit request/proposal

Research proposals for a grant should be submitted every year up to the 1^st of May or up to the 1^st of December (the research committee of the NII meets twice a year).

Requests for a scholarship should be submitted up to the end of January of every year.

  Please note

  The grants of the Research Fund are not meant to replace State or public budgets for funding research that is under the responsibility of a government Ministry or any other public body.

 Those submitting a research proposal may suggest conducting the research jointly with researchers from the Research and Planning Administration of the NII; however, the NII is not obligated to accept this suggestion.

 The approval of the research proposal does not obligate the NII to transfer data from its administrative files.

 The Committee for Information Transfer of the NII, acting under the Law for the Defense of Privacy,  is responsible for dealing with requests for the transfer of information.
