This request for recognition by the Authority for Determining Entitlement to Benefits at the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption should be submitted by a Prisoner of Zion or a detainee of Zion who has been imprisoned, detained or exiled for one of the following reasons:
- His Zionistic activities in a country in which such activities were forbidden;
- His Jewishness;
- Hostile relations between the country in which he resided and Israel;
He was a resident of Israel before the establishment of the State and worked towards the establishment of the State.
