Those who were sent on unpaid leave for 30 days or more, can receive unemployment benefits, if they meet the conditions of entitlement to unemployment benefit.
Those who have not accumulated the required qualifying period for receiving unemployment benefit and have low income or no income at all – should check their eligibility for income support.
Those who have reached retirement age and are not entitled to unemployment benefits – should check their eligibility for old-age pension and, if they have low income, also for income supplement to old-age pension.
