How is the amount of the allowance determined?


The amount of the allowance is determined based on the child's score on the dependency test:
  • A child who scored 5 to 7 points on the test will receive an allowance at the rate of 50% or NIS 1,880 (as of Jan 01, 2025).
  • A child who scored 8 to 9 points on the test will receive an allowance at the rate of 112% or NIS 4,352 (as of Jan 01, 2025).
  • A child who scored 10 to 12 points on the test will receive an allowance at the rate of 188% or NIS 6,947 (as of Jan 01, 2025).
  • A person who received 13 points or more will receive an allowance at the rate of 235% or NIS 8,828 (as of Jan 01, 2025).
