The disabled child allowance is paid up to age 18 and three months.
Adult child's eligibility for a
general disability allowance is then reviewed – paid to those who have a significant work incapacity due to a medical disability.
Please note that we apply for those who receive a disabled child allowance when they turn 18, based on their health condition, to determine their eligibility for a disability pension.
