I am about to travel abroad with my family to work there. Will I be entitled to keep on receiving a child allowance from Israel?

In principle, according to the National Insurance Law in Israel, you are entitled to a child allowance for the first three months of your stay abroad with your family. However, if you are staying in a convention country , you may be eligible for a child allowance from the Social Security Institute of the country of your stay, subject to the provisions of each convention.

Please note: It is impossible to receive a child allowance both in Israel and in the convention country for the same period.
