Unpaid leave compensation outline
- Qualifying unpaid leave period - at least 10 days of absence out of 12 days of fighting.
- Eligible evacuees from north and south (unpaid leave) will receive a supplement of unemployment days of up to 12 days.
Another relief on the required work period (qualification) is given to:
- Discharged soldiers - 3 months of regular service will be considered a qualifying period
- Evacuees from the northern border - the required work period is 2 months
- People with disabilities - the required work period is 3 months
Grant to people aged 67+
Individuals aged 67+ - you too are eligible for a grant
- How much does one receive? 75% of the average wage from work over 3 months out of the 6 months preceding work stoppage (without exceeding NIS 134 per day).
