Free legal aid


If you decide to appeal a decision of the National Insurance Institute to the Labor Court, you may request legal assistance free of charge from one of the Legal Aid Bureaus of the Ministry of Justice – closest to your place of residence.

The legal aid includes:

  • Legal counseling
  • Editing legal documents
  • Representation at the labor court
  • Covering expenses entailed in provision of the legal service
    (the expenses are determined by the legal aid bureau.

Filing a request for legal aid

In order to receive this legal aid, you should fill out a Request Form for legal aidand submit it to the legal aid bureau closest to your place of residence.

The legal aid bureau will examine your request and decide on provision of the aid, and its scope.

Legal aid call centers

  • To obtain information on an existing case, one must contact the call center *6405 from Sunday through Thursday between 8:00 and 16:00.
  • To open a case and change the meeting day one must call the number 073-3927788, from Sunday through Thursday between 8:00 and 16:00.

Public reception hours at Bureaus

  • Sunday and Tuesday, upon prior appointment only, between 8:30 and 12:30.
  • Tuesday, public reception will also be available between 15:00 and 17:00.
  • Wednesday there will be no public reception nor telephone appointments.
