Conditions of entitlement to all benefits in the mobility branch

A person who meets all the following conditions is entitled to the range of mobility benefits:

  1. He is an Israeli resident who is living in Israel.
  2. He is at least three-years-old but has not yet reached retirement age
The retirement age is determined according to one's date of birth. For purposes of mobility benefits, the retirement age of women is identical to that of men (67 year).

However, it is sometimes possible to receive mobility benefits after retirement age.

  3. A medical committee or a medical appeals committee of the Ministry of Health has established the percentage of his limited mobility due to an impairment in his legs, according to a list of defined impairments.

If you have a valid driving license – the medical board determined a mobility degree of at least 40% for you.

If you do not have a valid driving license – the medical board determined a mobility degree of at least 60% for you on the condition that the license holder has an authorized driver.

Important!
The National Insurance Institute authorizes mobility allowance for two or more siblings, each of whom has a mobility limitation degree at least 80%, and who live in the same apartment, even if they are under three-years-old.
