Income test for a person who has income from work as well as from sources other than work

For a person who has no spouse (single), or has a spouse who does not meet the definition of spouse under the Old-Age Insurance Law:

  • If your monthly income from work less than NIS 7,146 , and your monthly income from sources other than work (such as from rent or from interest on investments) is less than NIS 14,292 you may be entitled to a full old-age pension. 
  • If your monthly income exceeds above amounts, you may be entitled to a partial pension or not be entitled to a pension at all, according to your level of income.

For a person who has a spouse who meets the definition of spouse under the Old-Age Insurance Law:

  • If your monthly income from work is less than NIS 9,527 , and your monthly income from sources other than work (such as from rent or from interest on investments) is less than NIS 19,054 you may be entitled to a full old-age pension. 
  • If your monthly income exceeds above amounts, you may be entitled to a partial pension or not be entitled to a pension at all, according to your level of income.
