Basic amount to calculate benefits


The amount according to which most of the benefits are calculated as of January 1, 2006. The basic amount is adjusted on January 1st of every year at the rate of the previous year’s rise in the Consumer Price Index.

In January 2022, a new basic amount was added as regard to disability allowance and any benefit whose rate derives from it, and which is updated based on the average wage under the National Insurance Law.
The basic amount implies a number of tariffs for purpose of updating various benefits.
