Eligibility for Benefits


A soldier doing unpaid compulsory military service in the framework of "Shalat" is insured under the National Health Insurance Law, and therefore receives medical services through the sick funds.

A soldier doing a period of unpaid military service may be eligible for the following benefits:

maternity, children, survivors, family of a person deceased due to a work accident / an accident while volunteering, family of a person deceased due to hostile action, radiation-affected persons, persons with transfusion-acquired HIV, disability, mobility, persons injured while volunteering, old-age pension, hostile action casualties, unemployment, long-term care, grant for discharged soldiers on account of vital work.
