Volunteers

There are some cases in which persons volunteer for the benefit of the community and society, and other cases in which a person may become a volunteer “involuntarily” (such as if he saves a person from drowning). Volunteers are covered by the National Insurance Institute against injury in the course of their volunteer activity, similarly to those covered against work injury.
