Benefit nullification point (86) | The maximum amount of income from work or from a wage-replacing benefit (maternity allowance, risk pregnancy, injury allowance) entitling one to maintenance payment by means of the National Insurance Institute. A woman who earns an amount equal to or more than the benefit nullification point will not be entitled to maintenance payment by means of the NII. |

child (83) | A minor child, including an adopted minor child as well as a grown child who is not capable of supporting himself. |

|
|
|
|
guardian (85) | A person so appointed by a judicial court, sometimes in addition to and sometimes instead of the natural parents. |

income test (138) | The right to maintenance payment from the National Insurance Institute is subject to an income test. If a woman has income from work or not from work, this income will be taken into account in the calculation of the maintenance payment. A woman who does not pass the income test will not be entitled to maintenance payment by means of the NII. |

judgement for maintenance (82) | A court judgement or other court decision according to which a person is obligated to pay alimony or child support to his spouse, to his child or to his parent. |
