A self-employed worker whose claim for a maternity allowance, pregnancy bed rest benefit, foster parent allowance or adoption allowance was rejected due to arrears in payment of insurance contributions, can submit a request of entitlement for reasons of equity.
The request of entitlement for reasons of equity will be examined according to the test, principles and rates prescribed by the Regulations.
