Compensation for radiation victims - One-time compensation

A one-time compensation is paid to the radiation victim in accordance with the degree of permanent medical disability that was determined for him. This compensation is paid in addition to the monthly pension.

  A person for whom a degree of medical disability of between 40% and 74% has been determined – will receive a one-time compensation to the amount of NIS 50,000, linked to the index from January 1, 1995.
The amount of the compensation in May 2009: NIS 83,615.

  A person for whom a degree of medical disability of between 75% and 100% has been determined – will receive a one-time compensation to the amount of NIS 100,000, linked to the index from January 1, 1995.
The amount of the compensation in May 2009: NIS 167,230.
