| Single-parent Families |

A single-parent family is defined in the Single-Parent Families Law as “ a parent who is not marred and who maintains a child not yet 18 years old.” Parents who fit in this definition may be entitled to benefits under the National Insurance Law and additional laws.
Following are situations in life that entitle single-parent families to benefits:
