A claim for a maternity allowance for a salaried or self-employed worker on maternity leave.
In the following cases the claim is an automatic one, and there is no need to submit a claim:
A salaried employee whose employer has an automatic arrangement with the NII;
A self-employed worker registered with the NII;
A worker who received a risk pregnancy benefit from the NII;
A worker who received unemployment benefit from the NII for at least one month preceding the birth.
