From now on, you can switch from one sick fund (kupat holim) to another through the internet

  Do you want to switch to a different sick fund?
That's what the internet is for!

A new service of the National Insurance Institute and the Ministry of Health:
Until now the only way that you could switch sick funds was through a post office.
From now on, it is possible through the internet as well.

All you have to do is go into the payments site/switching sick funds
and register for the sick fund that you would like to join.
The switch does not entail any payment.

You may switch sick funds at any of 6 dates in the course of the year:
January 1^st, March 1^st, May 1^st, July 1^st, September 1^st or November 1^st.
However, you may not switch more than twice in the course of 12 months.
You must submit the request for the switch up to 45 days before the date of the switch.
