The National Insurance has contacted 1,042 families of war casualties out of 1,709 wounded that have been reported to us.
The staff of our departments of hostile actions and rehabilitation have reached 12 hotels, where survivors of hell have been evacuated
Since the beginning of the war "Iron Swords" the details of 1,709 civil casualties have been received by the National Insurance from the Ministry of Health and hospitals, hundreds of them being reported between yesterday and today.
The hostile actions and rehabilitation staff of the National Insurance have contacted 1,042 of the families and will continue until reaching out everyone of them, this as part of the emotional and economic support that the National Insurance provides to civil victims of terror. Furthermore, because of the difficulty of identification process so far, only 366 killed have been reported to the National Insurance until now.
- Victims brought from Gaza strip have been sorted in two groups in the evacuation process, the first ones: survivors who were at the frontline during the attack and those evacuated from settlements and were on the second line of violence.
- The evacuees and survivors of this hell were brought to some 20 hotels. 12 workers of the National Insurance gave them social assistance and information about taking up their rights and filling out forms, and leaving the cellphone numbers of employees of the hostile actions and rehabilitation departments to help them sort out any of their needs.
In 8 additional hotels, the persons evacuated asked us to come next week due to their emotional struggle and lack of mental availability. In all these hotels, the National Insurance scheduled meetings next week to provide immediate assistance to all of them. - The second group of evacuees, not involved in the first wave of violence and evacuated due to the security situation - our workers of hostile actions and rehabilitation will reach out to them next week.
- The National Insurance helps and will, from now on, support the wounded and the families who lost their loved ones either now or in the future.
The casualties and their families received first assistance, among other things with accommodation arrangements around the hospital, travels, eligibility for income loss. - Bereaved families received assistance in terms of bringing relatives from abroad, participation in the purchase of a burial plot, travels to funeral, and more.
