Under the Freedom of Information Regulations (Fees), a request for information shall be handled upon payment of an application fee of NIS 23, and with the applicant's commitment to pay handling and production fees up to the amount of NIS 173.
You will be informed, prior to the start of any handling process on your request, if its cost exceeds NIS 173.
Additional fees:
- Production fee - an application involving the photocopy and production of requested information, will be charged NIS 0.23 per photocopy or NIS 2.88 for a CD.
- Handling fee - an application whose handling requires a specific processing will be charged NIS 35 per work hour, as from the fourth hour.

Fee exemptions for application and handling up to seven work hours:
- Personal information requested by an individual about himself or his rights.
- Information requested by a representative of a registered non-profit organization (Amuta) or a social organization working for the promotion of a public purpose among those listed in section 9(b)(2) of Income Tax Ordinance - a valid authorization of proper management issued by a certified registrar must be attached to the request.
- Information request by an individual for academic research purposes - a document attesting the applicant's affiliation to an academic institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education must be attached to the request.
- The recipient of one of the following benefits: income support, allowance under Maintenance Law, benefit implying an income by virtue of the Disabled Victims of Nazi Persecution Law or the Disabled Victims of the War Against the Nazis Law, allowance according to section 11 of Benefits to Prisoner of Zion and their Families Law, disability pension at 75% rate.
Requests to consult the NII administrative guidelines and to receive publications and informational pamphlets are exempted from application fee.
