Birth and parenthood allowance for a foster family

Following an amendment to the law, the expression "maternity leave" is changed to "birth and parenthood period".

Foster families may be eligible to a foster parent allowance.

Parents of a family that has been officially approved as a foster family and which has admitted to its home a child up to the age of 10 for the purpose of foster care for a period exceeding six months, is eligible for a foster parent allowance. ​
