For a woman who is self-employed, we calculate the maternity allowances according to the amount of income earned during the year of pregnancy or the previous year, whichever is higher.
If you go on unpaid leave for 30 days or more, you will receive unemployment benefits, provided that you comply with the conditions of entitlement to unemployment benefits.
During the period of conditions of entitlement, you will be entitled to unemployment benefits if you comply with the conditions of entitlement. To obtain benefits, you must register on the website of the Employment Service and, at the same time, complete and submit to us claim for unemployment benefits online on the website. Upon giving birth, you will be entitled to maternity allowances calculated on the same salary basis as unemployment benefits.
If you go on unpaid leave for 30 days or more, you can receive unemployment benefits provided that you comply with the conditions of entitlement. If this leave ultimately lasts less than 30 days, you will be entitled to maternity allowances in accordance with the conditions of eligibility.
Anyone who go on unpaid leave for at least 30 days is not entitled to unemployment benefits.

In addition, if at the end of the maternity leave, you remain on unpaid leave against your will, you may be entitled to unemployment, in the same way as any other person sent on unpaid leave or dismissed.
