Please note: you can receive unemployment benefit and work during the election period

If you meet all 4 of the following conditions, you can work during the election period without the work affecting your unemployment benefit:

1. The work is for the elections to the 26th Knesset
2. The election period in which you can work is from 12.09.2026 to 10.11.2026
3. The person paying for the work is a candidate, a party or the Central Elections Committee (please note: if payment is made by a staffing agency, the wages may affect your unemployment benefit)
4. The pay for the work is up to NIS 19,600 for the whole election period (not a monthly wage)
