As of 5.5.2026 entered into force a legal amendment to the unpaid leave outline in the context of "Roaring Lion":
Those who went on unpaid leave in the first five days of the war (from 28.2.2026 or 1.3.2026 until 4/5.3.2026) and stayed on unpaid leave for 5 days or more, may be eligible for unemployment benefits.
The law will be implemented within 45 days, and payment will be received during the month of June.
