Occupancy grants – National Insurance data

From this morning, 20,667 claims were submitted to the National Insurance for occupancy grants, which the government decided to transfer to residents who evacuated independently from the north and south to a place of accommodation that is not financed by the state, according to the date of evacuation of each settlement.

  • In order to receive the payment, the National Insurance established a computerized system in which you can enter the details and fill out an online declaration form, and after a few days the money will be deposited into your bank account.
  • In the first stage – it is possible to declare an evacuation period until 2.11.2023, as stipulated in the legislation.
  • Later, and depending on the situation, it will be necessary to re-enter the website and declare additional periods in a place of accommodation that is not financed by the state.

Grant amount:

  • The deposit is in the amount of NIS 100 per child and NIS 200 per adult.
  • For children under the age of 18 – the money will be deposited into the bank account on which the child allowance is paid.
  • Anyone who has recently reached the age of 18 and wants the grant deposited directly into their bank account, we recommend updating your bank account details.
