The National Insurance:​

Over NIS 190 million in heating grants were transferred to approximately 304,000 senior citizens

Today, the National Insurance transferred a payment for heating grants in the amount of over NIS 190 million to approximately 304,000 senior citizens, as part of the National Insurance's assistance to the elderly with electricity payments ahead of winter season. The heating grants amount to NIS 649 per family, and NIS 325 per individual.

The grant is paid directly to senior citizens who have reached retirement age and receive a supplement income in addition to the survivors pension, disability pension or old-age pension. Holocaust survivors are also eligible for the grant - and the amount will be automatically transferred to their bank account.

As stated, the total grants transferred are over NIS 190 million, and will be paid automatically, and will appear in bank accounts on October 28 and 29, 2025. In the event that spouses are both entitled to a grant – it will be split into an even amount of NIS 325 each.
