- Benefit nullification point (86)
The maximum amount of income from work or from a wage-replacing benefit (maternity allowance, risk pregnancy, injury allowance) entitling one to maintenance payment by means of the National Insurance Institute. A woman who earns an amount equal to or more than the benefit nullification point will not be entitled to maintenance payment by means of the NII.

- income test (138)
The right to maintenance payment from the National Insurance Institute is subject to an income test. If a woman has income from work or not from work, this income will be taken into account in the calculation of the maintenance payment. A woman who does not pass the income test will not be entitled to maintenance payment by means of the NII.
