How to submit a claim


The claim and documents can be sent by one of the following ways:

The following documents shall be attached to the claim:

  • An identity document.
  • One copy of the court judgment (and of any judgment or divorce agreement on which the court judgment relies), signed and certified by the court or the rabbinic court.
  • For a woman who has non-work income - certificates of income.
  • If you have opened a file in the Collection Office regarding the court judgment that you submitted to the NII, you must submit certification from the Collection Office regarding closure of the file.
  • For a child to whom a court judgment has awarded maintenance payments and who is not in his mother's custody - a guardianship order or court judgment in which the guardian is the person claiming the maintenance payments for the child.
  • A printout from your current account at the bank and certification from the bank regarding the amount of your savings and/or deposits.

Important!

  • You must also provide details of the debtor (his identity card number, address, telephone number and place of employment).
  • The National Insurance Institute will send you a letter authorizing or denying your claim within 30 days of the day that you submitted the claim.
  • If the court judgment is not in Hebrew, the NII will send it to be translated, and the letter authorizing or denying your claim will be sent to you within 30 days of the day that we receive the translation.
