Laying Israel flag and lighting Memorial candle
As every year, ahead of Memorial Day, the National Insurance promotes in collaboration with youth movements a project in which they engage in laying Israeli flags on hostile actions casualties' graves and lighting memorial candles .
Youth movements do their best to lay a flag and light a candle on the victims' graves that have been located. We apologize in advance for any mistake or any flag not laid. In such case, you can contact us to let us handle the issue.
Families uninterested in the laying of Israel flag shall contact us until 19.4.2024 by email at galitbn@nioi.gov.il.
In your inquiry, please indicate the name of the victim, the cemetery name, city of the cemetery, block and plot.
Due to the security situation, in places where gathering are not allowed, it might be impossible for youth movements to lay a flag and a candle.
Broadcasting the names of hostile actions casualties
The names of hostile actions casualties will be broadcasted on television on the "CAN" broadcasting channel.
A link the identify the estimated broadcasting time of the name of casualties will be released close to Memorial Day on the "Laad" website.
