Lump-sum compensation

A permanent lump-sum compensation is paid to the victim, in accordance with his determined percentage of disability or mobility limitation.

Under the agreement between the Minister of Finance and representatives of the disabled, the one-time compensation is paid in two equal payments. The first payment is made upon approval of the benefit and the second payment is made a year later. The compensation is paid in addition to the monthly pension or grant.
