Rights of women between 57-60 years of age (born from 1.1.60 onwards)

  • Longer entitlement period to unemployment benefits: you will be able to receive unemployment payments for 300 days (rather than 174 days) over a 18-month timeframe (instead of 12 months).
  • Maximum unemployment benefit rate since day 176 onwards - NIS 183.03 (as of Jan 01, 2024).
  • Those participating in vocational training - will receive unemployment benefit at 100%, it will however not exceed NIS 183.03 (as of Jan 01, 2024) per day.
  • Those refusing to participate in vocational training:
    - Over first 175 days: unemployment eligibility cancelation for 90 days + 30 days cut out of days of entitlement to unemployment benefits (i.e. they will be entitled to 270 days)
    - From day 176 onwards: unemployment eligibility cancelation for their remaining entitlement days
  • Women who reached age 60 - will enjoy rights granted to unemployed women aged 60-67.

Rights of women between 60-67 (born from 1.1.60 onwards)

  • Longer entitlement period to unemployment benefits: you will be able to receive unemployment payments for 300 days (rather than 174 days) over a 18-month timeframe (instead of 12 months).
  • Those participating in vocational training - will receive unemployment benefits at 100%.
  • Those refusing to take a job offer or to participate in vocational training - will keep receiving unemployment benefits as usual.
