Third-party compensation

The volunteer who received from the National Insurance an allowance for an injury suffered during volunteering, and who also sued any third party for damages caused to him during volunteering (under the Damages Ordinance, new version, or under the Compensations to Victims of Road Accidents Law, 5735-1975) - must inform the National Insurance about his law suit.

The National Insurance is also allowed to sue the responsible of the damage for reparation against the amount of the benefits it is or will be paying to the volunteer.
