As part of its policy of service improvement, the National Insurance invites the workers associations, the employers, the civil associations and the public as a whole to take part in designing the policy for the reduction of work injuries and improvement of procedures in work-injury allowance.
From the month July, a inter-ministry team led by the National Insurance started working, which examines various issues in relation to the reductions of work injuries in the economy and the improvement of procedures in work-injury allowance.
This team is comprised of representatives of the National Insurance, the Budgets Division of the Ministry of Finance, the Labor Ministry and the Justice Ministry.
Issues examined by the team:
- Policy changes contributing in lowering risk at work.
- Changes in procedures related to the processing of work-injury allowance.
- Improving labor markets and the synchronization in the field with employers, various public entities (such as municipalities) and other parties.
- Other proposals related to the mitigation of work injuries and the improvement of government response on this matter.
