Unpaid leave

The outline of unpaid leave has been agreed upon and voted by the Knesset on 31.3.2026.

It is important to note that after the legislation, there will be an implementation and implementation process that includes: updating the National Insurance Information Systems in accordance with the sections of the legislation, so that payments will be transferred to each citizen according to their individual case, reviewing citizens' claims for unpaid leave, cross-referencing data with employers and the Employment Service.

Estimated payment date - during the month of May. Important! We are trying our best to get payments to be transferred as soon as in the month of April.

Medical Boards

In accordance with the Home Front Command's guidelines, as of Friday, 6/3/26, medical boards will fully resume their operation.

If a citizen still apprehend coming to a branch in person - we will assess the possibility of holding the board via video chat or based on medical documents exclusively.

If it is impossible to hold the board in such settings, because of the claim's nature - the medical board will be postponed to a later date.

Please note:
Those who have already been contacted by the National Insurance and for whom a video-chat or document-based board has been scheduled - the board will be held in the agreed settings.

Public reception

Due to the ceasefire and the updated Home Front Command guidelines, all branches across the country have resume frontal public reception as usual.
