A new service point was opened at the Binyamin Gate in the presence of the Minister of Labor

The National Insurance inaugurated on Monday, August 21, 2023, a new service center in the Binyamin Regional Council – the largest council in the country, in the presence of Labor Minister Yoav Ben Tzur, the Acting General Director of the National Insurance Institute, Yarona Shalom, and the Head of the Council of the Binyamin, Israel Gantz.

The opening of the center was done considering the size of the population and their due entitlements, the broad layout of the headquarters area extending over a million dunams, providing service to 47 communities, and the need for an accessible and convenient social response in this area.

In the past, there were a number of service points in Eli, Ofra and Beit El and the new center will actually incorporate all of them and provide a wider solution for all the residents in the area.

The service center itself belongs to the Jerusalem branch that will provide backup and response to the service center.

The service center will officially open on September 6th and will provide comprehensive service and assistance to more than 80 thousand citizens belonging to the Binyamin headquarters: Adam, Ofra, Beit El, Rimonim, Nofey Perat, Mitzpeh Jericho, Givon Hadash, Kfar Oranim, Neria and more of the surrounding localities.

It will be possible to receive service on various and broader topics, including: allowances and insurance contributions, claims for unemployment benefits, reserve duty, income support, long-term care and in addition: delivery and submission of documents, obtaining authorizations, a password to the Personal Service website and more.

As part of the improvement of services at the National Insurance Institute, the service center was established in a new spacious and spacious building, located in a central location, convenient and accessible in the industrial area of Sha'ar Binyamin, 2 HaBanai Street (above Katzeffet Icecream).

Public reception will be open on Wednesdays between 8:30 - 13:00. You can book an appointment at the branch on the National Insurance website / on the call center *6050 / on MyVisit app. At the same time, almost all services do not require access to the service center and information can be obtained through a variety of channels operated by the National Insurance Institute digitally: on the National Insurance website, on its Facebook page, on its Instagram page, on its Telegram channel and on its YouTube channel.

Yoav Ben Zur, Minister of Labor: "In the inauguration of the new branch, we would like to celebrate not only the physical renewal of the new building inauguration, but also the pride behind its opening. The opening of the branch is a milestone in our public service, and it attests to the status of the State for the benefit of all citizens. I am sure that improving social security services in the central region of the country will suffice with important social support and social culture, and will be a significant contribution to improving the well-being and quality of life of the residents of the Binyamin region, which we commit to provide with love and responsibility."

Deputy Director General of the National Insurance Institute, Yarona Shalom: "The National Insurance Institute is located wherever it can help, provide service and handle all issues occurring throughout life, from birth to old age. The opening of the compound at the Binyamin headquarters coordinates all the regional activity with the backing of the Jerusalem branch and expresses another stage in the involvement of the Institute  and the  deployment of the National Insurance Institute within touching distance of the your home. We will continue to work to make the service accessible both online and in a way that we will allow us to keep meeting the residents face to face, hear what is on their hearts and provide them with the best service."

Head of the Binyamin Mateh Council, Israel Gantz: "Today we are able to bring an important public service closer to the residents of Binyamin. The National Insurance Institute will be accessible to tens of thousands of our residents in a positive way and close to home. This is an important step that joins other government services that we have brought and will continue to bring to Binyamin. It is a recognition that Binyamin is an inseparable part of the State of Israel.  I thank my friend, the Minister of Labor, Yoav Ben Tzur, the Deputy Director General of the National Insurance Institute, as well as the National Insurance Institute and the Council's Administrators for the inauguration of the new branch of service for the welfare of our residents."
