In the event of a benefit recipient's death, the representative may not continue to collect his/her fee. However, he/she may continue collecting the fee from the widow or widower of a deceased recipient if all the following conditions are met:
- The benefit recipient died as a result of the work injury for which the claim was submitted.
- The death occurred during the first year of receiving the benefit.
- At the time of concluding the agreement, the widow or widower signed as a guarantor for payment of the fee.
