The National Insurance Institute will examine your case in order to determine whether you are eligible for a special pension for personal maintenance or for a special grant to cover the expenses of one-time arrangements you must make because of your disability:
  • If you have a permanent degree of disability of 75% or more;
  • If you have a permanent degree of disability of 65-74% due to which you have difficulty in walking (subject to authorization by an NII physician).
