Unpaid leave period calculation for purposes of unemployment benefits or adjustment grant payment

This calculator is intended to calculate the period of unpaid leave required in order to receive unemployment benefit or adjustment grant for the 67-year-old and older, depending on the date of your departure on unpaid leave.
A salaried employee may be entitled to an unemployment benefit or an adjustment grant if his employer sent him on unpaid leave for at least 30 days, and subject to the other conditions of entitlement. Fridays, Saturdays and holidays are also taken into account in the required 30-day period.
